Jessica The Graduate

The boys and I headed down to Lethbridge to go to Jessica's convocation. We are very proud of how hard she worked and how diligent of a student she is. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in "Exercise Science".

One of my favorite things about Jess is she always comes over and talks about how she failed her test or exam. When I see her next and ask her how she actually did she says "oh I only got 95%..." haha.

Jess is one of the smartest people I know and I am certain she will be amazing at whatever career path she takes!

May

At the beginning of May, we moved to Airdrie to begin our fourth Vivint summer!

This year we felt super spoiled because we got to live in a townhouse instead of an apartment. Grant made lots of friends very quickly and he now has a new found love of hockey.

...

We have checked out a couple of new parks...

...and made good use of our new double stroller.

Asher tried the Jolly Jumper for the first time and it was hilarious.

Although we don't have much time with Garth during the busy summers, we have done such a good job this summer of going out and doing fun things in the mornings. We enjoy shopping, eating out and going to the zoo.

It is fun living so close to Colin and Cynthia. Grant and Charlie have lots of good bonding time.

We went to see Pitch Perfect 2 with all the vivint reps and wives/girlfriends. It was so great having a couple of kid-less hours haha.

One of my favorite parts about being a Vivint Wife is you have friends who know what you are going through. Their husbands are gone selling all day also so we all love getting together and hanging out. Kim and Amy have become two of my good friends over the years and so I was excited for a whole summer of partying with them.

Sundays are my favorite. We had my family over for dinner, went on sunday drives, serenaded each other on the guitar and hung out with friends.

My youngest sister Mikayla was in a Musical called "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and it blew me away. She sang, danced and acted like I've never seen before. So much talent and beauty in one person!

One Sunday afternoon we made our way to Prince's Island Park, walked around and took some pictures. Calgary really is a very cool city.

We also spent a lot of time at Kim and Jordan's house who were always so generous, inviting us over for dinner.

While Garth was in New Zealand, he bought him and Grant matching "kiwi" outfits.

I know I post lots of cute pictures of Asher with no updates, but I plan on doing a full post all about him! He is literally the cutest and I can't stop taking pictures of him.

On Mother's Day the boys surprised me with my favorite breakfast in bed! After church we came home and took some pictures of me and my boys. Grant was exhausted and uncooperative but Garth managed to catch a cute picture of us. I didn't get one of me and my two boys together, but I will always treasure these pictures of my first mother's day as a mom of 2.

Mother's Day wouldn't be complete without some mother/son cuddles.

Garth graduated in December so his Convocation took place at the end of May. Even though he decided not to go because it conflicted with work, I went (my sister was graduating as well), and I celebrated his achievements for him haha. He was such a smart and hard worker and it really paid off, he was accepted into the Education Program with high recomendation and he graduated with distinction. To say I am proud of him is an understatement!
